What’s Music Therapy?
Music therapy is a research-based allied health profession in which music is used to actively support people as they aim to improve their health, functioning and wellbeing. It can help people of all ages to manage their physical and mental health and enhance their quality of life (Australian Music Therapy Association, 2023).
Soundtrack Music Therapy focuses on harnessing the power of music to nurture development and support identity, health and wellbeing goals.
What does your soundtrack sound like? How can it support you?

My passion for music therapy practice is fueled by a lifelong interest in soundtracks - particularly the music's transformative qualities and emotional capacity of music. As a registered music therapist, I support participants to reveal and explore their own unique soundtrack, as a helpful resource.
I am dedicated to specialising in adult abd adolescent mental health, perinatal, parenthood/motherhood and palliative care populations.
Through my music therapy practice experiences, I've honed my skills in providing music therapy services to diverse populations, engaging in evidence-based practices and valuing post-humanistic, person-centered and strengths-based approaches, always prioritising participants’ needs and goals.
My rich lived experiences working and living internationally, as well as being a mother of two lively boys, adds valuable personal strength and knowledge to my work, as I aim to enrich lives through music therapy.
